Terra Cotta planted roots in 2025 with a deep appreciation for seasonality. We partner with local farmers and artisans to bring you thoughtfully curated dining experiences that celebrate the bounty of our region. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a community event we aim to make the ingredients the star of the show.

Michelle’s roots are in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from Niagara Falls Culinary Institute she worked in large-scale events and catering, which eventually landed her  in Nashville in 2017. After a reprieve from the industry in 2020 Michelle found a home at a neighborhood restaurant where she’s been able to tend the onsite garden, develop relationships with farmers and cook european inspired food. Michelle loves to put her personal touch on food that has been beautifully grown and raised.  Starting Terra Cotta Catering Company is Michelle's hope to curate special experience and bring naturally nutritious food to the community with the help of our Tennessee farmers.  When Michelle's not cooking or growing food she enjoys playing with her two cats, hiking and seeing live music.
